The Village of Piermont is in the process of applying for FEMA funds to improve Village Infrastructure to prevent and protect homes from future disasters. The application process is highly competitive, and the Village must prove that the losses have been and will be greater than the cost of the Projects.
We are requesting you to list any expenses incurred due to storm damage. The damages include anything from rainfall, hurricane, or tidal flooding events; it is not limited to Hurricane Disaster events. Attached you will find a simple chart in which you can itemize your damages by storm event.
There will be a WORKSHOP on Wednesday October 2, 2013 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in Village Hall to assist owners to fill out the form and answer any questions you may have.
